Shannon T. Howell always knew she wanted to help families make some of the most important decisions in their life and create unique plans to help implement those decisions.

Shannon grew up learning about the estate planning practice from her grandfather, who was a prominent estate planning attorney in Palm Beach, Florida.  She always enjoyed the personal relationships her grandfather had with his clients.  He was the lawyer they turned to, not only for their wills and trusts, but for all of their legal needs.  He was their trusted advisor and family lawyer.

This instilled in Shannon the desire to create her own legacy as a Personal Family Lawyer and trusted advisor to her clients.  To that end, Shannon founded The Howell Law Group, APC in December 2009 for the purpose of providing estate and tax planning, probate and trust administration services.  What she enjoys most about her practice are the lifelong relationships developed with her clients as their Personal Family Lawyer and getting to experience all of the important life moments in her client’s lives.

Shannon is licensed to practice law in California and Florida and is currently obtaining her LL.M. in Tax degree.  Shannon chairs the Children at Risk Committee of the San Diego County Bar Association, volunteers with the State Bar of California Speaker’s Bureau and the San Diego County Public Law Library’s free legal clinics.

Shannon is married and resides with her husband in San Diego, California.  They are expecting their first child in May 2012.   They enjoy food and wine, time with friends and family, and attending church.  In addition, Shannon also enjoys playing golf and tennis.
